2.0.5
Emerge.ai in Spanish and Japanese, several chats open at once, maintenance and app-version notices, new models, PowerPoint and CSV uploads, a 6-digit email verification code, and billing you can reach wherever you are.
Released December 12, 2025.
Emerge.ai now speaks Spanish and Japanese, with a selector so you can switch language whenever you like. You can keep several chats open at once, upload PowerPoint and CSV files, and see a clear notice when Emerge.ai is under maintenance or your app needs updating. Plus new models, a 6-digit code for verifying your email, billing you can reach wherever you are, and a set of fixes.
Emerge.ai in Spanish and Japanese (New Feature)
- Use Emerge.ai in your language: Emerge.ai is fully translated into Spanish and Japanese, alongside English
- Switch language whenever you like: A language selector lets you move between English, Spanish, and Japanese
- Translated everywhere you work: Chat and messaging, the sidebar and its notifications, project views, profile and security settings, member management, contact forms, and the website — plus dates and times written the way your language writes them
Several chats at once (New Feature)
- Keep more than one chat going: Open several chats and switch between them freely, without what you do in one spilling into another
Maintenance and version notices (New Feature)
- Know when Emerge.ai is under maintenance: A banner and an on-screen notice tell you when maintenance is under way, across the whole product
- Emerge.ai checks your app version for you: Emerge.ai confirms automatically that the version you are running is still supported
- Told when your app version is too old: If your app version is below the minimum required, Emerge.ai lets you know
- A nudge when there's something newer: When a newer version is available, Emerge.ai tells you and offers to refresh
New AI models
-
Grok 4.1 Fast: xAI's newest agent model, built to work through multi-step tasks and use tools on its own — it can search the web, run code, and use tools you connect
- Two ways to answer: A fast mode for instant replies, and a reasoning mode for harder questions
- Fewer made-up answers: 50% fewer than previous versions
- Room to work: A 2M token context window, for long conversations
-
More privately hosted models: More privately hosted model options are available to choose from
Working with more kinds of files
- Open PowerPoint files in chat: Upload a .pptx or .ppt file and preview it right in the conversation
- Upload and download CSVs: Upload a CSV and Emerge.ai handles it for you, and you can download it again
- Files keep working in long sessions: Files stay reachable when you have been working in Emerge.ai for a long stretch
- Know when a document is still being prepared: A message tells you when a document you uploaded is still being indexed for search
- Previews fit your screen: File previews show their loading more clearly and adjust better to the size of your screen
Verifying your email
- A 6-digit code confirms your email: Signing up with an email and password sends you a 6-digit code to enter
- Ask for a new code: If the first one doesn't arrive you can have another sent, with a limit on how often
- Verification errors say what happened: When email verification fails, the message tells you what went wrong
- Codes don't last forever: A verification code expires after a while, so an old one can't be used
Website updates
- A pricing page: A new pricing page lays out what each plan includes, so you can compare them
- A contact form that tells you what's missing: The contact page checks what you have entered and says when something needs fixing
- A refreshed solutions page: The solutions and features overview has been rewritten, and reads in Spanish and Japanese too
- A clearer company page: The company information page is laid out more clearly
- The same look throughout: The public pages of the site now look consistent with one another
Plans & billing
- Reach billing wherever you are: Plan and billing settings are available to everyone, whatever your location
- Come back to a plan you cancelled: If you have cancelled, you can subscribe again
- Change how you pay: Update your billing details and switch payment method
- Move from a trial to a paid plan: Converting a trial to a paid subscription is a smoother process
- More control over subscription members: Subscription member management gives you finer control
Chat improvements
- See when a message was sent: Your messages now carry a timestamp
- Times read in your language: Dates and times are written the way your language writes them — "2 hours ago" in English, "hace 2 horas" in Spanish
- A page explaining how much a model can hold: A new page covers context windows and each model's limits
- Told when a message is too long: If a message goes past what the model can hold, you get a clear explanation and what to do about it
- Retry appears when it applies: Whether the retry button shows depends on whether Brie is turned on
Layout and readability
- Light mode is easier on the eyes: A number of light mode fixes improve contrast
- Wide screens use their space: The chat toolbar and member lists space out properly on very wide screens
- Find your way around settings: Settings pages are easier to move through, and their titles match where you are
- Banners that say what's happening: Subscription status banners explain your situation more plainly
- Know a file at a glance: File type icons are clearer, and every file operation shows the same loading indicator
- Switch Clouds and search without snags: The Cloud switcher is easier to use, and problems with global search are fixed
Bug fixes
- Dates and times land in the right timezone: Timezone problems in date and time displays are fixed
- Your draft clears when you send: Sending a message reliably clears what was in the draft
- Files open again after a stale session: A stale session no longer stops you getting at your files
