2.0.0
Every file from a chat or a project in one place with filters and search, drafts that save as you type, new chats you can name and set up before you start, sign-up with an email address and a password, and Google Gemini 3.0 Pro.
Released November 21, 2025.
You can now see every file from a chat or a project in one place, narrow the list by type, and search it by name. Unsent messages save themselves as you type, and a new chat can be named and set up before you send anything. Sign up with an email address and a password, and Google Gemini 3.0 Pro joins the models you can use. Plus a clearer view of your subscription and the people on it.
Files in chats and projects (New Feature)
- See everything a chat has collected: Browse and manage all the files uploaded to a single chat
- See a whole project's files together: Every file from across a project, in one place
- Switch between the conversation and the files: Chats and Projects each have tabs for Chats and Files
- Narrow the list to what you're after: Quick filters for documents, images, videos, audio, and other file types
- Find a file by name: Search your uploaded files by name
Chat drafts (New Feature)
- What you type is kept as you write it: A message you haven't sent yet saves itself
- It's still there tomorrow: A draft survives closing the browser — it's kept on the device and browser you wrote it on
- Every chat keeps its own draft: What you left unsent in one chat doesn't disturb another
- Pick up where you left off: Come back to a chat and your unsent message is waiting in the box
New chats — set them up before you start (New Feature)
- Decide how a chat works before you send anything: A button on a new chat lets you choose its settings before your first message
- Use a chat as a notebook: Create a chat that Brie doesn't reply in, so you can keep notes or documentation in it
- Name the chat yourself: Give a chat its name before you send the first message
- Say up front how you want the chat handled: Write the chat's instructions before you start, so they guide the AI from the very first message
- Turn Brie on or off in one click: Choose whether Brie takes part in a new chat
- Choose whether web search is on: Turn web search on or off from those same settings
Sign up with an email address (New Feature)
- You don't need another account to sign up: Create an account with an email address and a password instead of signing in through another service
- Confirm your address by email: Verifying your email is a required step in setting up an account
Gemini 3.0 Pro (New Model)
- A new model from Google: Google Gemini 3.0 Pro, Google's most advanced model, with state-of-the-art reasoning
- Give it more than text: It reads and analyzes text, images, audio, video, PDFs, and code repositories
- Strong at code: Industry-leading results on the WebDev Arena and SWE-bench coding benchmarks
- Room to work on something big: A 1M token context window, for deep problem-solving on complex tasks
Your subscription and its members
- Know where your account stands: A banner shows your trial status, payment problems, and account warnings
- A heads-up before your trial runs out: The banner appears when 3 or fewer days are left in the trial
- A payment that didn't go through says so: Clear warnings for failed payments and for subscriptions that were never finished
- You can move down to a smaller plan: Subscription downgrades now have a path of their own
- Managing who's on your subscription is easier: A clearer screen for your subscription's members
- Cloud permissions that come from your subscription: They are applied more dependably
Onboarding & Cloud creation
- Creating a Cloud is simpler: The steps for setting up a new Cloud have been simplified
- Inviting your team goes better: Inviting people while you're setting up a Cloud is easier to get through
- Signing up and creating a Cloud fit together: The two connect more smoothly than they did
Smaller fixes
- The settings button sits where it should on a phone: Its position in the mobile sidebar is fixed
- More pages read well on a phone: Mobile layouts improved across several pages
- Controls that needed a tooltip have one: Tooltips added where they were missing
