Edit an earlier message and run the chat again from that point, upload Excel files and work with what's in them, start a project from a ready-made template, and see when other members are typing in a shared chat.

Real-time collaboration (New Feature)

  • See when someone else is typing: In a shared chat, you can tell when another member is writing a message
  • New messages reach everyone right away: A message sent in a shared chat appears for every member of that chat as it arrives

Project templates (New Feature)

  • Start a project from a template: New projects can begin from a ready-made setup for a common kind of work
  • Similar projects start out the same: Projects created from the same template are set up alike

Edit & rerun messages (New Feature)

  • Change what you asked and get a new answer: Edit any earlier message in the conversation and run the chat again from that point, in one click
  • You don't have to start a new chat: Reword a question and try again in the conversation you're already in
  • The conversation is kept: Your chat history stays as it is while you adjust an earlier question

Project chat filtering (New Feature)

  • Show only the chats you want: Inside a project, narrow the list to new, active, or archived chats
  • Tell shared chats from your own: A project's chats show which are collaborative and which are private

Excel file support (New Feature)

  • Bring a spreadsheet into the chat: Upload an Excel file (.xlsx, .xls) straight into a conversation
  • Ask about what's in it: Emerge.ai reads your Excel data and can work with it in the conversation

Smaller improvements

  • Start typing right away: On a larger screen, the cursor lands in the chat box for you
  • A clearer prompt before a chat is deleted: Deleting a chat is easier to follow, and still asks you to confirm first
  • Code is easier to read in light mode: Code blocks are clearer against a light background
  • The members list fits a phone: The members dialog displays properly on a small screen
  • Copy an answer on your phone: The button that copies a response works on mobile devices
  • Clear your notifications in one go: Support notifications and "mark all as read" are both handled better than before

Claude Sonnet 4.5 (New Model)

  • Anthropic's most intelligent model: Best in its class for coding and for complex, multi-step work
  • The highest score for coding on its own: 77.2% on SWE-bench Verified

Claude Haiku 4.5 (New Model)

  • Fast and light: Performs much like Sonnet 4, at one-third the cost and twice the speed
  • Nearly as strong at coding: 73.3% on SWE-bench Verified, within 5 points of Sonnet 4.5
