Settings
The personal settings in Emerge.ai — theme, language, email preferences, archived chats, and where to check which version you are running.
What you'll do
Open your personal settings, set the theme and language you work in, choose which emails Emerge.ai sends you, and know where archived chats and the app version live.
These are your own settings, not the Cloud's. The settings for a whole Cloud live in Cloud Settings and are covered where each feature is documented.
Step-by-step
- Open your profile menu and choose My Settings. It opens on the General tab.
- Pick a Theme: Light, Dark, Blue, or System. System follows your device's setting.
- Pick a Language: English, Español, or 日本語.
- Under Email Communications, set the two toggles: Marketing Emails ("Receive news, offers, and promotions.") and Product Updates ("Stay informed about new features and improvements."). Each saves as soon as you switch it.
- Under Chats, use Archived Chats → Manage to see everything you have archived. Each archived chat or project has a Restore action.
The App Version
The App Version section of the General tab shows the version you are currently running — v2.4.5 when this page was last checked. The number on your screen is the live one; release notes for each version are in Release Notes.
Beta Features
The General tab also holds the Beta Features toggle. It is experimental territory with its own rules, so it has its own page.
Definitions
- My Settings — your personal settings, opened from your profile menu. They are yours, separate from any one Cloud's settings.
- Cloud Settings — settings for one Cloud, separate from these. Managing them is an administrator matter.
- Archived chat — a chat you have moved out of the sidebar without deleting it. Restoring it brings it back.
