Beta Features

What the Beta Features toggle in Settings does, the product's own warning about it, and what to expect from features marked beta.

What you'll do

Turn Beta Features on or off for yourself, and know what you are opting into when you do.

Beta features are the parts of Emerge.ai that are still being finished in public. The product's own warning says it plainly: "Beta features are experimental and may be unstable, incomplete, or change without notice. Use at your own risk."

Step-by-step

  1. Open your profile menu and choose My Settings.
  2. On the General tab, find the Beta Features section — "Enable access to beta features and views."
  3. Switch it on to see beta surfaces, or off to hide them again.

The toggle is yours alone: it changes what you see, not what your teammates see.

If the section is not there, your plan does not include beta access.

What to expect from a beta feature

  • It may change or disappear between releases, without a deprecation period.
  • It may be unstable or incomplete — that is what the label means, not a fault to report.
  • Anything the product marks beta keeps that marking in these docs too.

What is in beta changes over time. Connectors are marked beta today — the release notes announce when something enters or leaves beta.

Definitions

  • Beta feature — a feature the product itself marks as beta: usable, but experimental, and subject to change without notice.
